This Week's Eats 10.13.13

I'm still reeling from all the awesome racing and PRs being set at the Chicago Marathon!  Such big congrats to everyone who ran.  We ate the remainder of our Portillos in your honor.

Last week's new recipes went over pretty well.  The slow cooker honey garlic chicken was tasty and we'll definitely do it again.  The flavors are similar to Korean BBQ - YUM.  And the chicken and broccoli tater tot casserole tasted pretty much like you'd expect it to, but I kicked it up a bit with these super awesome Alexia tots that have roasted garlic, black pepper with "a hint of sour cream and chives."

I also added fresh chives to the chicken and broccoli mixture and it went over well.  And, fyi, half the recipe is plenty for a family of two hungry adults and two small (and picky) children.

I'm linking up with Org Junkie, Mommy Run Fast and Jill Conyersbe sure to check out all the great weekly menus!
